Is the TUSHY Aura Worth It?
Yes, the TUSHY Aura is worth it if you want a hands-free bidet seat for an elongated toilet.
The auto-open lid is the main upgrade over TUSHY’s other seats.
You also get instant warm water and a clear digital display.
The trade-offs are the premium cost and the elongated-only fit.
If your toilet and outlet are ready, the Aura delivers a true luxury feel.
Design & Build
The Aura has a sleek, low-profile look in white.
TUSHY says the seat is 20% slimmer than its earlier models.
It measures about 20.75 x 15.16 x 5.08 inches and weighs 9.15 pounds.
The seat supports up to 300 pounds.
The body is polypropylene, and the nozzle is stainless steel.
A quick-release seat makes cleaning easier.
Performance & Cleaning
1. The wash is easy to customize.
You can adjust pressure and spray angle.
Oscillating mode sweeps a 180° massaging wash.
2. The nozzle cleans itself.
It rinses with water, then runs a 3-minute UV sterilization cycle.
This helps keep the nozzle hygienic between uses.
3. The dryer is stronger.
TUSHY says the Aura dryer is twice as strong as the Ace.
It offers four heat settings and adjustable airflow.
Comfort Features
Instant water heating means no waiting and no storage tank.
Water has four settings: room temperature, 93°F, 99°F, and 102°F.
The heated seat uses the same four levels, plus Eco Mode.
A soft LED night light guides you in the dark.
An included steel mesh filter comes pre-installed.
The auto-open lid detects you as you approach and closes softly when you leave.
Controls & Installation
1. Use the remote or the display.
The remote nests in a wall mount.
The digital display shows your seat, water, and dryer temperature.
2. Confirm you have an elongated bowl.
The Aura does not fit round toilets.
It also needs clear space between the seat and the tank.
3. Plan your outlet.
The Aura needs a grounded 3-prong GFCI outlet.
The power cord is 48 inches long.
4. Install it yourself.
The kit includes a tank adapter, hose, brackets, and a mounting template.
No extra plumbing is needed, and TUSHY lists install at about 10 minutes.
Who Is the TUSHY Aura Best For?
1. Hands-free lovers.
The auto-open lid is the feature that sets this seat apart.
2. Elongated-toilet owners who want luxury.
You get heat, warmth, drying, and a display in one slim seat.
3. Night-time bathroom users.
The built-in night light and soft-close lid keep things quiet and easy.
4. Not ideal for round bowls or tight budgets.
If you have a round toilet, look at the Ace instead.

If your bathroom is ready, the Aura is an easy upgrade to recommend.
